Food For Thought

Assalamualaikum

I will continue to write from time to time about giving and sharing because I think they will benefit us. Hope you like them...

1. A generous man was approached by a young lady asking money for her sick child. He gave her the money. Later on, a friend of the generous man came and told him that he had a bad news for him. The generous man ask what it is. The friend said that, the woman is a liar. Her child was not sick at all. The generous man smile and said.." That's not a bad news. That is a good news!"..

2. When I just join my presence job, I have to pressure a bit people around me(not just my staff) , so that we can deliver on time. This might upset some of them. I notice that one very senior staff need to be reminded frequently to do the task. Whenever I see him, he will ask me to come again and remind him later on. . He is not my staff, he is senior so it could be the way to show his seniority.But I patiently reminded him nicely over and over again. A few days ago, he asked me whether I want the task given to be completed earlier and he willing to do that!

3. From time to time, I will hang around with my brothers. We have drinks and nice chat and I love to pay for the bill. But when I go out with my friends, they are the one who pay for the bills most of the time. Sometime when I can't join them, they even ask me anything that I want that they want to buy for me!

4. How did I got my present job? The interviewer ask many questions and I impress them with the answers until one question about FX trading. Without hesitant, I told him frankly that I just an average FX trader. That's not my strength, my strength bla la bla...and guess what? The interviewer impress with my honesty and hire me. He even said that most people will say that they can do all sort of things but when come to real world, they do not deliver, but I'm brave to tell the truth!

5. When I just join my organisation, peole warn me to be careful with one high ranking guy. He is a tough guy and like to exploit people -that what people think. I notice many people don't like him but I be neutral to him. I always think that he is just not suitable to Malaysian culture (he worked long at oversea). I even invite him to have lunch together. After not long, he resigned and join a new company for higher post. After few months he contacted me and offered me jobs with a big jump in salary!

And gods now better..

amirul cuba mengejar faisal kerana beliau tidak suka faisal me'nonjolkan' diri dalam aksi rolling, walhal beliau sendiri malu kerana tidak pandai membuat terjunan rolling...

umaira masih sebok mencibok tatkala iffat membuat marathon di air pancut..

Akhirnya nama Amirul menjadi popular juga kerana berjaya 'menyelamatkan' iffat dari membuat terjunan merbahaya yg di ajar oleh si kecil Faisal...

Amirul terpaksa me'mapah' iffat kerana di khuatiri lemas...

Auni cuba memujuk abah nya utk turun mandi sekali...

"kat situ la Abg Long nak buat Rolling tadi!!" ujar Viji memaklumkan kpd Kak Long supaya Kak Long dapat menghalang Abg Long dari membuat aksi yg di ajar oleh Faisal...

Food For Thought

Assalamualaikum

1. I always raise hand to guard at my apartment. Some of them are are very friendly but I notice one of the guard is very serious look. The first time I great him he just stare at me with his serious look. Second time I raise my hand and smile, he gave a more friendly look. Third time I raised my hand, he also raise his. And yesterday, he raised his hand first before I able to raise mine!

2. We can't please everybody, can we? I have a not so good relationship with one of my neighbor. Nevertheless, I invited them to come to my open house because I believe do a right thing first, deal with your emotional later on. After my open house was ended and they did not turned up, I gave them a pack of food through their son. Guess what? They came after an hour and we have a good chat!

3. I have a friend where sometime he will tell me about her wife and how she always upset him. I feel pity to my friend because he is a good guy and maybe his wife do not know how to appreciate him. Normally I will just ask him to be patient. Thats all I can say. But then I remember about situation when we drive a car. Sometime, we need to give way to other car but then when we need people to give way to us, do we expect the guy that we just help to help us? Surely not- other people will give way to us. Thats how the life work. So husband, treat your wife kindly ok and do not expect her to treat you the same! It could be 'other wife' treat you better..(not other people wife!)


4. I wonder why some people always think bad about other people. I believe majority of people are good heart and like to help others. Only minority have a bad intentions. However, what we think will happen to us. Thats what happen, when I travel and I need direction, people will try their best to help me find the correct way. But I heard a story of one negative thinking man who lost his ways and ask people around. He was puposely shown a wrong direction!

5. At my office we have limited access license for certain products. When I just join the department, I found that people are fighting over the licence (the are suppose to fighting over the price). When somebody need and shout for the licence, nobody bother. When they have licence, people tend to keep it themselves. Thus, inputting deals become a tense exercise for those who have no access licence. So, what I did was- whenever I have a licence, I will give to whoever requested it. After sometime, I notice many people turn to me for licence and I rarely refuse to give them unless I really need to use that licence that time. The good thing is, now I have no worry for licence because whenever I need it, there is always somebody there to give it to me..and more and more people are willing to share their licence- the good behavior contagious, isn't it?

Salam. Tahukah anda yang anda tidak perlu ke perpustakaan lagi untuk mencari bahan bacaan? Teknologi semakin moden membolehkan kita mendapat semua bahan ini di rumah sendiri. Perkara ini baru sahaja di 'explore' oleh saya yang kebetulan minat membaca buat masa ini. Caranya mudah sahaja. Pergi ke laman web carian google dan klik pada 'book'. Kemudian, taipkan sahaja tajuk buku atau nama penulis.. Sebagai contoh, anda boleh menaip nama seperti 'Fadzilah kamsah' ataupun 'A.Samad Said'. Wow! anda sudah pun boleh membaca buku kegemaran anda...

Saya baru sahaja memulangkan buku yang bertajuk 'Rahsia Minda Jutawan' ini. Walhal ianya boleh dibaca disini:

Terdapat buku yang boleh dibaca sepenuhnya dan sebahagian sahaja. Oleh yang demikian, anda mungkin bleh mencubanya dahulu sebelum memudahkan anda untuk memilih buku apa yang perlu dipinjam dari perpustakaan. SELAMAT MENCUBA !!!

Jemputan Hari Raya

Assalamualaikum..

Dengan rendah dirinya, silalah datang ke teratak buruk Ytc petang Sabtu ni minum teh kosong dengan kuih raya..

To Midah, abang harap sangat2 Midah dapat datang kali ni. Dah banyak tahun abang tunggu bawah tangga sampai matahari terbenam, tak gak muncul2..
